Job Title: Handyperson Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time Sector: Property Services Location: Colchester Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 5:00 pm Pay Rate: £21.00 - £24.00 per hour We have an opportunity for a Handyperson to join a leading property maintenance, refurbishment, and retrofit specialist based in Essex. Responsibilities: Carrying out general maintenance works within tenanted properties, supporting responsive repairs and maintenance activities. Completing general snagging and making-good works to ensure properties are finished to a high standard. Undertaking painting and decorating works, including touch-ups and remedial painting following repairs. Completing basic joinery and carpentry works, including repairing and replacing doors, windows, kitchens, and bathroom fittings. Undertaking basic plumbing repairs, including repairing and replacing taps, basins, baths, shower trays, shower heads, and sanitary ware. Performing minor patch plastering repairs to a high standard. Maintaining clean, safe, and tidy work areas, including removing and disposing of waste materials from site. Using a PDA/mobile device to receive, manage, and update job tickets accurately. Following and adhering to all company health and safety policies and procedures. Delivering an outstanding level of customer service while working within residents' homes.
