Working as part of a skilled production team, you'll be involved in the assembly and build of high-quality engineered equipment, working from detailed engineering drawings to produce complex mechanical assemblies to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical fitting background looking to join a stable business that offers ongoing training, overtime opportunities and long-term career development.The Role As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for assembling a wide range of mechanical systems and fabricated components, ensuring products are built accurately, safely and to specification. Your responsibilities will include:\n

• Mechanical fitting and final assembly of engineered products
\n
• Reading and interpreting engineering and assembly drawings
\n
• Marking out, cutting, pipe bending and preparing fabricated components
\n
• Inspecting completed assemblies to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
\n
• Working to health and safety procedures at all times
\n
• Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining high manufacturing standards
\n

About You We're looking for someone with a practical engineering background and excellent attention to detail. You'll ideally have:\n

• Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Technician or Manufacturing Technician role
\n
• The ability to read and interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings
\n
• Experience assembling mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
\n
• Competence using a wide range of hand and power tools
\n
• A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
\n
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
