Graduate Commercial Property Legal Assistant
\nSalary: £26,000 | Hours: 37.5 per week | Permanent
\nAn excellent opportunity for a law graduate studying towards or having completed the SQE or LPC to develop a career in commercial property law. The role provides exposure to the full transaction lifecycle, supporting solicitors on a variety of commercial property matters.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Assist with client onboarding, file opening, AML checks, and risk assessments. \n
- Support commercial property transactions through due diligence, title investigations, property searches, and drafting legal documents. \n
- Prepare title packs, review documentation, and assist with enquiries. \n
- Liaise with clients, lenders, surveyors, brokers, counterparties, and external solicitors. \n
- Monitor transaction progress and support matter management. \n
- Assist with pre-completion and completion processes, including searches, completion statements, document execution, and fund transfers. \n
- Prepare Land Registry applications and assist with HMRC and Companies House filings. \n
- Support billing, invoicing, and financial administration. \n
- Conduct legal and commercial research to support fee earners. \n
Requirements

- LLB or equivalent qualification. \n
- Studying towards or completed SQE or LPC. \n
- Strong interest in commercial property and real estate law. \n
- Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail. \n
- Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities. \n
- Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach. \n
- Strong team-working skills. \n
Desirable

- Previous legal work experience, placement, internship, or vacation scheme. \n
- Interest in commercial property transactions and secured lending. \n
- Experience using Microsoft Office and case management systems. \n
