\nA growing independent insurance brokerage with an established presence across South and West Wales is looking to strengthen its commercial broking team.
\nThe business handles a varied portfolio of SME and corporate clients across areas including motor trade, fleet, property, agriculture, credit insurance and general commercial risks. \n\nRole Summary:
\nYou will work closely with a small group of Account Executives, supporting them with renewals, mid-term adjustments, quotations, client enquiries and insurer negotiations. You will act as a trusted day-to-day contact for clients and help keep work progressing when an Account Executive is unavailable.
\nThe role offers exposure to a broad mix of commercial risks and the opportunity to take genuine ownership of client servicing. You will join a collaborative team with access to administrative support, in-house training and funded Cert CII development, making this a strong opportunity to broaden your technical knowledge and progress your career.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:
\n• Client Servicing: Manage day-to-day enquiries and policy requirements, allowing you to build trusted relationships with commercial clients.
\n• Renewal Management: Prepare and progress renewals from initial review through to completion, developing your technical broking knowledge.
\n• Mid-Term Adjustments: Handle policy changes accurately and efficiently, ensuring clients continue to receive appropriate protection.
\n• Insurer Negotiation: Liaise with insurers and underwriters regarding quotations, coverage and terms, strengthening your market relationships.
\n• Account Executive Support: Keep client work moving when Account Executives are attending meetings or unavailable, giving you greater responsibility and autonomy.
\n• Portfolio Exposure: Work across a broad range of commercial products and sectors rather than being restricted to a narrow book.
\n\nRequirements:
\n• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes
\n• Experience handling renewals, adjustments and client enquiries
\n• Confidence communicating with clients, insurers and underwriters
\n• Ability to manage work independently while contributing to a wider team
\n• Strong organisation and attention to detail
\n• Cert CII qualification or an interest in completing it with employer support
