Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be tasked with ensuring the efficiency of electrical plant equipment on site, carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance, actively troubleshoot / fault find, work as part of a team and ensure the client on site is satisfied with the service provided.
\nElectrical Shift Engineer Duties:
\n- \n
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair tasks \n
- Work on single and three-phase electrical systems, including motors, emergency lighting, fire alarms, pumps, and Building Management Systems (BMS) \n
- Safely isolate equipment and systems when necessary to carry out work \n
- Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with current regulations and industry standards \n
- Consistently follow and promote safe working practices and procedures \n
- Maintain detailed and accurate records, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and site logbooks \n
- Use PDA systems to manage workflow, including job allocation, updates, and closures \n
Electrical Shift Engineer Requirements:
\n- \n
- Fully qualified within Electrical Engineering / Installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent) with electrical regulation qualifications \n
- Minimum of at least 3 years within commercial building services \n
- Great knowledge of commercial electrical equipment \n
- Client facing attitude \n
Electrical Shift Engineer Salary and Package:
\n- \n
- £55,000 per annum \n
- Continental Shift Pattern (7- 7) \n
