Quality/Technical Manager

Our client is a well established and growing business within the packaging sector, supplying innovative solutions to customers across a range of industries. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Technical Quality Manager to lead their quality function and drive continuous improvement across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands on environment, taking ownership of quality systems and ensuring products and processes consistently meet the highest standards.

The role

• Lead and maintain the company's Quality Management System.
\n
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and customer requirements.
\n
• Manage internal and external audits.
\n
• Investigate non conformances, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
\n
• Work closely with production, operations and commercial teams to support quality improvements.
\n
• Monitor quality performance, analyse data and produce reports.
\n
• Manage customer quality queries and technical documentation.
\n
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business.
\n
• Lead, develop and support the quality team.
\n

The ideal candidate

\n
• Previous experience in a Technical or Quality Management position within manufacturing or packaging.
\n
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and audit processes.
\n
• Experience managing customer and supplier quality issues.
\n
• Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
\n
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
\n
• Organised with strong attention to detail.
\n
• A proactive approach and a passion for continuous improvement.
\n
