Lead PMO Manager - £675 per day - 6 Month ContractRate: Up to £675 per dayIR35: InsideLocation: Hybrid - London, Manchester or BristolClearance: SC ClearedThe RoleA leading Central Government organisation is seeking an experienced Lead PMO Manager to establish and lead a newly formed PMO function, driving governance, strategic planning and portfolio delivery across a high-profile digital transformation programme.You will define PMO strategy, oversee project governance, business cases, resource planning and quality assurance, ensuring delivery aligns with organisational priorities.Experience & Requirements

• Proven experience leading PMOs across large, complex programmes or portfolios.

• Strong background establishing PMO governance, frameworks and delivery standards.
\n
• Experience developing business cases, Statements of Work (SoWs) and portfolio reporting.
\n
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change.
\n
• Experience with resource planning, portfolio management and continuous improvement.
\n
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring PMO teams and developing capability.
\n
• Government or large-scale digital transformation experience is highly desirable.
