Private Client Team - Probate Lawyer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and client-focused Probate Lawyer/Solicitor (1-4 years' PQE) to join our client within their established Private Client team in Dorset.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional looking to build their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters, providing exceptional advice and support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Managing a caseload of probate and estate administration matters from instruction through to completion.
\n
• Preparing and submitting applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration.
\n
• Advising executors, administrators, trustees, and beneficiaries.
\n
• Administering estates, including the collection and distribution of assets.
\n
• Preparing estate accounts and related documentation.
\n
• Advising on inheritance tax and related probate matters.
\n
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
\n
• Contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.
\n

About You

\n
• Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
\n
• Have a minimum of 1 years' PQE, or equivalent experience in probate and estate administration.
\n
• Demonstrate excellent communication and client care skills.
\n
• Be able to manage your own caseload efficiently.
\n
• Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
\n
• Be proactive, personable, and committed to delivering a high standard of service.
\n
