Global Mobility Tax Manager

Insite Public Practice Recruitment Limited
London, ENG, GB Full Time

Job Description

Global Mobility / Private Client Tax Manager\n

London | Hybrid Working | £65,000 - £75,000 + Exceptional Bonus & Benefits

\n

Not every tax role is created equal.

\n

If you're looking for a position where you'll work with internationally mobile individuals, high-net-worth clients and complex cross-border tax matters-while being genuinely recognised and rewarded for your expertise-this opportunity is worth exploring.

\n

We're partnering with a highly regarded specialist accountancy practice that's continuing to grow its International Private Client team. As a result, they're looking to appoint a talented Global Mobility / Private Client Tax Manager to join a collaborative, ambitious and technically strong team.

\n

This isn't a role where you'll spend your time churning through routine compliance. Instead, you'll advise a fascinating portfolio of HNW individuals, entrepreneurs, senior executives, private equity professionals and internationally mobile clients, helping them navigate complex UK and international tax issues.

\n

If you enjoy solving technical problems, building trusted client relationships and working alongside genuine specialists, you'll feel right at home.

Why You'll Want This Role\n
    \n
  • Salary of £65,000 - £75,000.
  • \n
  • Excellent annual bonus.
  • \n
  • Hybrid working with genuine flexibility.
  • \n
  • Outstanding benefits package.
  • \n
  • Exposure to technically challenging international tax work.
  • \n
  • A high-quality client base with interesting, varied assignments.
  • \n
  • Clear progression with real opportunities to develop your career.
  • \n
  • A supportive culture where your contribution is recognised and your development is actively encouraged.
  • \n
The Opportunity\n

You'll manage your own portfolio of international private clients while working closely with senior colleagues on a range of advisory and compliance projects, including:

\n
    \n
  • Advising internationally mobile individuals and expatriates.
  • \n
  • UK residence and domicile matters.
  • \n
  • Overseas Workday Relief.
  • \n
  • Double tax treaties and foreign tax credit relief.
  • \n
  • Cross-border employment tax issues.
  • \n
  • Equity-based remuneration, share awards and carried interest.
  • \n
  • Reviewing complex personal tax returns.
  • \n
  • Supporting Partners on advisory-led projects.
  • \n
  • Developing junior members of the team.
  • \n
  • Building long-term client relationships with a consultative approach.
  • \n
\n

You'll have the autonomy to manage your own clients while continuing to broaden your technical expertise in a genuinely specialist environment.

About You\n

You'll already have experience within Private Client Tax, Global Mobility or International Tax and enjoy working with complex cross-border issues.

\n

You'll probably be ATT and/or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience) and be comfortable managing client relationships, delivering excellent service and taking ownership of your work.

\n

Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, values technical excellence and wants to be part of a firm where progression is based on ability-not waiting for someone above you to move on.

Ready for Something Different?\n

If you're looking for a role that offers more than just another step up the ladder-a role where you'll work on some of the most interesting international private client tax matters in the market while enjoying excellent rewards, flexibility and genuine career progression-we'd love to hear from you.

\n

All conversations will be handled in the strictest confidence.

\n

I actually prefer this version because it reads like an opportunity rather than a vacancy. Candidates buying into the challenge, culture and progression before they get to the responsibilities tends to generate stronger engagement, particularly for manager-level tax professionals.
