Job Title: Senior Project Manager
\nSalary: 65+k plus car allowance

\nHours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am -5.00pm flexibility of hours is expected with this role
\nHybrid working: In the office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Working from home Friday.
\nHoliday: 25 plus bank holidays per annum
\n1.JOB PURPOSE
\n- \n
- Working in support of the Head of Projects to manage, execute and deliver projects to the business needs. \n
- To deputise for the Head of Projects as needed. \n
- The Senior Project Manager is expected to look after all aspects of project delivery using the approved Business Lifecycle Processes from initial set up to close out and lessons learnt. \n
- This includes management of elements not carried out directly by the Project function. \n
- Coordinating with other departments (Engineering, Production, etc) to ensure delivery requirements are achieved. \n
- To ensure projects and department activity aligns with the strategic aims of the business \n
- To act as mentor and provide support to the junior Project Managers in the Cullum Project Team \n
2.JOB ACTIVITIES
\nAssist with or carry out any other activities as required by your Line Manager.
\nPROJECT DELIVERY
\nManaging Critical Impact Projects throughout the Project Lifecycle to agreed Quality, Cost and Delivery Targets
\nManagement and Reporting of Project Status and Milestone activities to the Head of Projects and to the wider business
\nWorking with Business Development to support Project activities on tenders and quotes as necessary.
\nCommercial understanding and execution of projects to the best advantage of the business, including robust contract variation control.
\nIdentification and Management of Risks and Issues in an appropriate manner using the approved Risk and Issue Management process.
\nManagement and reporting of Risk Mitigation Measures and Issue Controls to ensure optimal project delivery.
\nGeneration of accurate project plans, that ensure alignment with project scope, customer deliverables and business capacity.
\nClear Identification of all project deliverables for both internal and external stakeholders, including scheduling progress meetings throughout the life of the project.
\nUnderstanding of project deliverables and business processes to ensure delivery of projects, including working with Project team and other departments to ensure on time delivery, within budget and to the correct quality levels.
\nWorking with the business to ensure that correct resources and suppliers are \"On-board\" to ensure \"Right first time\" delivery, within the necessary budgets and quality requirements.
\nFinancial control - understanding and setting up project budgets, feeding into the ERP system, invoice control and cash flow reporting.
\nResponsible for setting and achieving stated project margin
\nEnsuring Project milestones / invoices are submitted timely and with the appropriate documentation.
\nManaging Projects using the agreed lifecycle processes from initial hand over and Kick off with the customer, through the business lifecycle gates and project processes.
\nDelegating as necessary, with the support of management team, within the business to achieve the project objectives.
\nMaintaining regular project progress meetings and timely project reporting as agreed with and to the customer.
\nTaking responsibility for all aspects of project performance and compliance, including adherence to project budget, delivery and quality requirements, whilst ensuring the final deliverable is complete to customer specification, and accompanied with the appropriate project and compliance documentation.
\nMaintaining an approved File structure in support of Project Lifecycle Management
\nEnsuring detailed communications are placed and maintained to support the project, including action trackers, minutes of meetings and documentation control as necessary.
\nCarrying out lessons learnt activities to ensure continuous improvement of project processes and business deliverables
\nAny other duties that may be required from time to time.

\nWork to attain optimum performance within the Project Team and associated areas of responsibility.
\nMaximise the use of Cullum management control and IT systems to ensure accurate and auditable project control.

- HNC qualified or equivalent. \n

- Formal Project Management qualification (e.g., Prince II or APMP) or familiar with the defined processes. \n
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

- Experience of delivering M&E design, manufacture and install projects within Energy, Nuclear, Petrochemical, Aerospace or similar industries, demonstrable experience of working to cost, timescale and quality constraints. \n
- Project Management and relevant engineering discipline background \n
