Were enabling a zero carbon, lower cost energy future for all, and working hard to decarbonise the planet for generations to come.About the role:As part of the Commercial Team, the Quantity Surveyor will;- Prepare accurate cost estimates and pricing for EV installation projects and ongoing services, covering design, supply chain, installation, and connection works.- Review drawings, specifications and tender documents to produce clear bills of quantities and commercial pricing models.- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations alongside Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure best value, compliance, and risk control.- Partner with project and design teams to validate quantities, assess build methodologies, and ensure costs align with budgets.- Support value engineering, cost optimisation and risk management to protect margins and deliver against commercial KPIs.- Engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders to ensure pricing, variations and cost reporting are transparent, competitive and client-focused.Who were looking for:To be successful in this role youll ideally have- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within construction, grid connections, M&E, installations, energy or EV environments.- Strong knowledge of construction and electrical systems, with a clear understanding of relevant regulations and standards.- Experience in managing and executing standard construction contracts such as JCT or NEC 3+4.- Advanced experience using estimating software and digital tools, with a continuous-improvement mindset for accurate and efficient cost management.- A great attitude, very reliable, self-sufficient and confidentRewards and benefits:As you help us to shape the future, weve shaped our rewards and benefits to help you thrive and supportyour lifestyle.
