Scheduling Coordinator HomecareSalary: £29,000 per annum + £1,000 bonusLocation: Office-based, with occasional operational support dutiesAre you highly organised, calm under pressure and confident managing changing priorities?We are looking for a proactive Scheduling Coordinator to join our clients team. You will play a key role in making sure every care visit is safely covered, carers receive clear and accurate rotas, and service users benefit from reliable, consistent support.Package :£29,000 starting salary£1,000 discretionary annual bonusOngoing training and development opportunitiesCompany eventsGenerous referral schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeCompany pension schemeFriendly supportive working environmentParkingThis is a busy and varied position requiring excellent communication, practical problem-solving and the ability to keep several plates spinning at once. Previous experience within homecare or using care rostering software would be a strong advantage.Responsibilities :Creating, maintaining and publishing weekly care rotasEnsuring all planned visits are allocated to appropriately trained care staffMatching carers with service users based on skills, availability, location and continuityResponding quickly to sickness, emergencies and last-minute rota changesUpdating schedules when new care packages begin or support requirements changeMonitoring electronic call records and investigating late or missed visitsKeeping the rostering system accurate, current and fully auditablePlanning efficient routes to reduce unnecessary travel and improve staff utilisationMaintaining accurate records of availability, contracted hours, training, annual leave and sicknessIdentifying staffing or capacity concerns early and proposing practical solutionsCommunicating rota details and changes clearly to care staffProviding carers with accurate visit information, service user notes and risk detailsBuilding positive working relationships with carers and responding to scheduling queriesSupporting the mobilisation of new care packagesWorking closely with Care Coordinators and the wider management teamMaintaining a small continuity caseloadParticipating in the shared on-call rota and providing out-of-hours support when requiredRequirements:Excellent organisational and time-management skillsExperience in a scheduling / co-ordination role previously all sectors consideredThe ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and relationship-building skillsA practical and confident approach to problem-solvingGood computer skills and confidence learning new systemsExperience using electronic rostering, scheduling or care-management softwareThe ability to remain calm and make sound decisions when circumstances changeA strong eye for detail and commitment to maintaining accurate recordsDesirablePrevious experience within homecare, domiciliary care or health and social careA good understanding of continuity of careKnowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding and GDPRExperience coordinating staff across multiple locationsIf you are an experienced scheduler who enjoys solving problems, supporting care teams and helping services run smoothly, we would love to hear from you.Apply today with your current CV.INDARCTPBN1_UKTJ
