CNC Programmer

Job Description:Our client specialise in high-speed CNC machining of quality precision milled parts in aluminum, non-ferrous metal and plastic. Based in Stapleford Nottingham, Proactive Staff are looking for a great milling CNC machine setter to join their team.Whats in it for you / Benefits:£30K-£38.5K per annum (depending upon experience)7:30am 16:30pm Monday Thursday, 7:30am 12:30pm FridayImmediate startSuccessful placements will lead to a permanent contractKey Responsibilities:Program and Setting multi axis CNC milling machines to produce components for Aerospace, rail and automotive sectorsDevelop and write CNC programs using G-code, M-code, or CAM software.Set machining parameters such as speeds, feeds, cutting depths, and tool paths.Optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste.Perform quality control checks using precision measuring instruments.Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.Skills & Experience:Previous programming experience with CNC MachinesComprehensive knowledge of FanucProven track record of excellent attendance and reliabilityAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.How to Apply:Call Sandra at Proactive Staff, click apply or submit your CV to .
