This is a permanent, site-based role working Monday to Friday, 07:0016:00, with overtime available.This position offers the chance to play a key role in the safe and efficient running of a busy rail-head operation, supporting the unloading, storage and dispatch of aggregates and waste materials. Working closely with operational teams on site, youll help coordinate daily depot activity, maintain high safety and environmental standards, and ensure customer demand is met effectively.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with operational or supervisory experience within aggregates, rail, quarrying, waste, logistics or heavy industrial environments who is looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced and essential operation.What You'll Be DoingCoordinating daily depot operations, including rail deliveries, stock management, loading and dispatch activitiesSupporting safe working practices across site and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and environmental proceduresSupervising and supporting site operatives and contractors to maintain efficient depot performanceMonitoring plant and equipment performance, escalating maintenance or operational concerns where requiredLiaising with commercial and distribution teams regarding stock levels, customer requirements and operational disruptionsWho you areYou have experience working within a heavy industrial, aggregates, rail, quarrying, waste or similar operational environmentYou have previous supervisory experience or are ready to step into a leadership role within site operationsYoure confident communicating with a range of stakeholders and can build strong working relationships across teamsYoure organised, proactive and able to prioritise workloads in a fast-moving environmentYou have experience operating or working alongside plant equipment such as loading shovels, grab offload equipment or weighbridge systemsWe are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
