Facilities Manager - Charity / Wellbeing
Job Description
Our client based in Gloucester who are a non-profit organisation supporting mental and physical wellbeing of people in Gloucestershire, have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join their ever-growing team.
\n\nYou will be responsible for management of the buildings across Gloucestershire, ensuring that they are properly maintained, clean and safe.
\n\nResponsibilities:
\n- Management of the cleaners and caretaker who care for the buildings.
\n- Maintain health and safety across all our sites.
\n- Maintain the fleet of vehicles ensuring a good safe condition.
\n- Liaise with the IT provider to ensure that requirements are met.
\n- Assess the IT function and contribute to its future development.
\n- Undertake tendering for facilities resources.
\n- Maintain an environmental strategy and approach in relation to buildings and vehicles.
\n- Liaise with funders, commissioners, and key personnel to manage programmes and projects.
\n- Undertake best practice sessions with staff to enable development and continuous improvement.
\n\nCandidate Attributes:
\n- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
\n- Strong communication skills at all levels
\n- Computer literate (MS Office)
\n- Excellent problem-solving skills
\n\nHours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week
\n\nSalary: £30,000+ 25 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown (not taken out of your allocation)
