A well-established aerospace precision engineering company is expanding its quality team and is looking for an experienced Night Shift Quality Control Inspector.

The business manufactures complex machined and fabricated components for aerospace customers and operates within a highly regulated AS9100 environment. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with a company that continues to invest in its manufacturing and quality capability.

Key responsibilities

\n
• Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection of aerospace components
\n
• Inspect parts against engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements
\n
• Use conventional inspection equipment including micrometers, verniers, height gauges and thread gauges
\n
• Complete inspection and traceability documentation accurately
\n
• Raise and support non-conformance activities where required
\n
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
\n

Requirements

\n
• Previous experience in aerospace or precision engineering inspection
\n
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances/GD&T
\n
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
\n
• Experience working within a quality-controlled manufacturing environment
\n
