HR Officer - Hybrid Working - Onsite Parking - August Start
\nc£30,000 | Hybrid Working | 6 Month Temporary Assignment (Potential to Extend)
\nReed is delighted to be supporting a large, well-respected public sector organisation in the recruitment of an experienced HR Officer to join their established HR team on a temporary basis.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys a varied, fast-paced role combining HR administration, employee lifecycle support and payroll-related activities.
\nThe Role
\nWorking as part of a collaborative HR Services team, you will provide advice and administrative support across a broad range of HR processes, supporting employees and managers within your designated business area.
\nKey responsibilities will include:
\n- \n
- Producing contracts, offer letters and employment documentation \n
- Processing starters, leavers and contractual changes \n
- Managing promotion, secondment and family leave administration \n
- Processing sickness absence and annual leave changes \n
- Supporting payroll administration, including overtime and pay-related amendments \n
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR system updates \n
- Responding to HR-related queries from employees and managers \n
- Supporting recruitment administration and onboarding activities \n
- Producing HR data and reports as required \n
About You
\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:
\n- \n
- Previous experience working within an HR administration, HR officer or HR services environment \n
- Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes \n
- Experience handling contractual changes and employee correspondence \n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills \n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities \n
- Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications \n

- Full-time, 37 hours per week \n
- Flexible working arrangements \n
- Hybrid working with approximately 2 office days per week \n

- Initial 6-month assignment with potential for extension \n
