\nThe team you will join
\nOur Knowledge Management sits within our wider Business Services Division. The team comprises of Professional Support Lawyers embedded within practice areas and a library function. The team plays a critical role in enabling legal excellence, risk management, efficiency, and consistency by making knowledge reusable, accessible, and aligned to the firm’s strategic priorities. This team leads the strategic development and operational delivery of the firm’s knowledge management, learning & development, and IT training functions. It acts as a key enabler of the firm’s long-term strategy, shaping the capabilities, behaviours, and ways of working required to deliver legal excellence, scalable growth, and sustained competitive advantage in a legal sector being reshaped by digital transformation, AI-enabled tools, data-driven working, and evolving client expectations.
\nThe work you will be doing

- Maintain relationships with library suppliers and publishers \n
- Audit and manage stock of physical and digital library resources \n
- Update looseleaf encyclopaedias and other reference materials \n
- Oversee the library budget to ensure cost-effective resource management \n
- Assist with user queries and provide guidance on library systems \n
- Support training and induction on library services for new staff \n

Hybrid Working
\nBirketts is a flexible business which has embraced a hybrid working model where our colleagues enjoy a mix of home and office working. During your 6 month probation period, there will be a requirement to be in the office full time whilst you are developing in the role. Once you have successfully passed probation, this role attracts a split of 60% office days and 40% working from home days per week.
