We're recruiting on behalf of a well known organisation who are actively recruiting, for a Financial Controller to join their finance leadership team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the finance function and partner closely with the Finance Director.

You'll be responsible for driving robust financial controls, leading the month-end process and delivering commercial insight that supports strategic decision-making.

The Role

As Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in the leadership of the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting while supporting the wider business through strong commercial partnering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely management reporting.
\n
• Oversee financial reporting, balance sheet integrity and Group reporting requirements.
\n
• Review financial performance and cost centres, providing meaningful analysis and challenge.
\n
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting for the business
\n
• Business partner with Operational Directors and senior stakeholders to support commercial decision-making.
\n
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting and internal controls.
\n
• Support statutory reporting and external audit requirements.
\n
• Lead, mentor and develop members of the finance team.
\n
• Deputise for the Finance Director when required.
\n

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys influencing stakeholders and driving business performance.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager or similar leadership role.
\n
• Strong technical accounting, management accounting and financial reporting experience.
\n
• Experience within a multi-site, operational or contract-led environment.
\n
• Excellent budgeting, forecasting and business planning skills.
\n
