Maintenance Operative

Maintenance Operative – Canary Wharf £35,000 + Benefits Join a leading Student Accommodation provider and be part of a Passivhaus high-spec residential development. Key Responsibilities * Reactive and PPM maintenance * General repairs including minor plumbing, painting and decorating * Building inspections * Upkeep of plant rooms, communal areas and building systems. * Working with contractors to resolve maintenance issues * Deliver excellent customer service to residents * Promote standards of Health & Safety. What We're Looking For * Experience as a Maintenance Operative, Maintenance Technician etc. * Strong all-round maintenance skills, including painting, decorating and basic plumbing repairs. * Ideally either: * NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing, or * Recognised Electrical Installation qualification with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). * Strong understanding of Health & Safety * Experience working in a Passivhaus or other sustainable building is desirable Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a rota between 8am–8pm, Monday to Friday, with one weekend in the rota and occasional on-call cover (1–2 times per year)
