This is an exciting time to join The Guinness Partnership as we introduce a new approach for increasing and improving our social impact.With offices in both Oldham and Crewe, we're flexible on where this role is based across the North. We offer a hybrid working model, combining three days in the office with two days working from home each week. You will work closely with colleagues across locations and be fully integrated into the team.We are a small team with a big remit and pride ourselves on our client-first and innovative design approach that provides high-quality and impactful services to Guinness residents, whilst operating at scale.Our services include a new delivery model providing a Universal Offer to support all Guinness residents across the country, as well as a Targeted Offer to support identified geographical areas and groups with most need.We design and deliver services through partnerships with organisations of all levels across the country, and everything we do is driven through the capture, analysis and learning from data.The Community Investment Officer is a crucial member of the team responsible for supporting the Community Investment team across our entire portfolio of functions and services. They ensure our programme management and service development and delivery activities are efficiently and effectively implemented with a focus on:Developing and managing impact measuring processes and analysing dataSupporting the management of our contracting procedures, from onboarding suppliers to raising POsTracking and monitoring budgetsDeveloping and co-ordinating communication and promotional campaignsAssisting with the design and delivery of projects and producing reports on all service activityThis is an exciting, multi-faceted role for a creative and practical professional with a wide skill set, and appetite for fast-paced and varied day to day activity.What we are looking forWe are a resident-focussed organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. The Community Investment Officer will need the drive and confidence to work independently whilst also being a genuine collaborator, committed to working closely and successfully with the wider Community Investment Team and a range of different departments across the business.You must be able to demonstrate the following:EssentialGood understanding of community investment, in particular tracking, measuring and monitoring impactProven experience of supporting a team to deliver high quality and impactful workExperience of working with different data sources - analysing and interrogating information to generate and apply learning for service development and to produce reports for different audiencesExperience of managing and supporting services across contracting, budget management, communications, and project planning and developmentConfident collaborator and networker both with colleagues and with external stakeholders who can build and maintain excellent working relationshipsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and wider digital tools and platforms including Power BI, Asana, Proactis, etc.DesirableAn understanding of social housingA high level of creativity and appetite to work innovatively to experiment, test and learn from service delivery and improve outcomesTo find out find out more about the key responsibilities of the role and to ensure you meet the essential criteria, please review the role profile.Please apply with a CV and covering statement.
