Permanent job opportunityMobile Farm AssistantDo you enjoy working outdoors?Do you have a full UK driving licence?Are you flexible to work 5 days out of 7?Are you able to work overtime when required?We are looking for a mobile farm assistant; the role will involve driving the company van to various farms and supporting the farm management teams to get the farms ready to operateExperience is advantageous; however, training can be providedPlease note, start times may varyIn your role as mobile farm assistant:Driving to various farmsLabouring, some physical workCleaning out sheds and farm areasMaintain required high standards of housekeeping, ensuring that the farm is kept clean and tidy, all roadways are free of litter and weedsGrass cuttingReducing the risk of vermin contaminationPoultry welfareTo maintain correct and up to date records of all matters relating to birds, food, supplies etc.To assist other operations such as vaccinating, bird weighing and catching and collection, thus maintaining a smooth operation through processingTo monitor ventilation, heating, feed, water and lighting patterns within agreed guidelines, so that the highest quality atmosphere and condition in which the birds can thrive is achieved.Safe use of chemicalsTo learn and operate all equipment and machineryAll other associated tasksOur ideal candidate:Experience in a similar environmentFull UK driving licence, van experienceHolds a food hygiene certificateWilling to learn and gain a full understanding of poultryResponsible and an effective communicatorHave a basic understanding and working knowledge of the operation of all equipment on the farmRate of pay£13.12 per hr1.5 overtime rateFor a full job description, please apply with a current CVTPBN1_UKTJ
