Job Title: Roofer Location: Hastings Salary: £38,000 per annum + Company Van & Fuel Card Job Type: Permanent Position We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a well-established social housing contractor covering the Hastings area. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a skilled Roofer with experience carrying out repairs and maintenance works within occupied and void social housing properties. You will be joining an established maintenance team, carrying out a varied range of roofing repairs and associated works across residential properties. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out a variety of roofing repairs, maintenance and renewal works Working across both occupied and void social housing properties Completing associated works including guttering, fascia and soffit repairs, and basic carpentry tasks Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard Updating job details and completing reports using a PDA system Providing a professional service while representing the company on-siteRequirements: Proven experience as a Roofer within social housing, housing maintenance or a similar property maintenance environment Experience working within occupied and void properties Strong knowledge of general roofing repairs and maintenance Comfortable using a PDA or handheld device to manage workloads and update jobs Full UK Driving LicenceIn return, you will be joining a reputable contractor offering long-term stability, a supportive working environment and the opportunity to become part of an established maintenance team.
