The Role

\n

Our client, is seeking a skilled Electrical & Mechanical Fitter to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the assembly and build of high-quality electrical and mechanical equipment in a clean, professional manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical assembly drawings.
  • \n
  • Electrical wiring and power supply assembly.
  • \n
  • Build and install wiring looms.
  • \n
  • Mechanical assembly including cutting, drilling and tapping.
  • \n
  • Assemble mechanical components and cooling systems.
  • \n
  • Carry out soldering and, where required, brazing.
  • \n
  • Test and inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate build documentation.
  • \n
  • Assist with stores, parts kitting and stock duties when required.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively within the production team while maintaining high health and safety standards.
  • \n

Key Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Electro-Mechanical Assembler or similar.
  • \n
  • Confident reading engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • \n
  • Strong electrical assembly and mechanical fitting skills.
  • \n
  • Experience with soldering is essential.
  • \n
  • Able to use hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment.
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • \n
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • \n
  • Be able to commute to Rugby easily
  • \n
