Job Description

Our client is looking to recruit a number of Production/Machine Operators into their manufacturing team near Lymington due to an increase in orders and work volumes.???????Primary Purpose of the Role

  • Manufacture materials in line with customer specifications
  • \n
  • Operate and monitor machinery and ancillary equipment
  • \n
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of production tasks
  • \n
  • Accurately record production data and material usage
  • \n
  • Contribute to ongoing company-wide and local continuous improvement initiatives
  • \n

Key Responsibilities

    \n
  • Operate machinery and associated equipment according to defined procedures
  • \n
  • Maintain machine run rates to maximise efficiencies
  • \n
  • Monitor and verify product quality throughout the production process
  • \n
  • Ensure final product meets all required quality specifications
  • \n
  • Perform machine cleanouts and maintenance of equipment and ancillary systems
  • \n
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
  • \n
  • Record daily production activities and relevant process data accurately
  • \n
  • Report on production metrics including output, downtime, changeovers, and other key data
  • \n
  • Driving a Counter Balance forklift to move material/pallets around the manufacturing area
  • \n

Person Specification

  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, and basic numeracy)
  • \n
  • Able to interpret detailed work instructions, batch cards, and quality documentation
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • \n
  • Willingness and ability to be trained on extrusion and ancillary equipment
  • \n
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
  • \n
  • Counter Balance forklift license
  • \n

Hours: 2pm - 10pm (Monday to Thursday)11am - 4pm (Friday)These are temp-to-perm opportunities dependant upon individual performance and continued strength of the customer order book.Pay:£13.00 per hour (rising based on performance)
