Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer

\nA well-invested aerospace precision engineering business is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer to join its engineering team.
\nThis is a technically focused role supporting the manufacture of complex aerospace components, with responsibility for programming, process development, tooling, fixtures and continuous improvement.
\nKey responsibilities
\n- \n
- Create and optimise 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC programmes \n
- Develop manufacturing processes, routings and setup methods \n
- Design and implement work-holding and fixture solutions \n
- Select tooling and support process improvement activities \n
- Drive first-time-right production and reduce manufacturing inefficiencies \n
- Liaise with production, quality and engineering teams on new and existing products \n
- Support the introduction of new components into manufacture \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Proven CNC programming experience in a precision engineering environment \n
- Strong understanding of 3, 4 and 5-axis machining \n
- Experience developing manufacturing methods and setup strategies \n
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications \n
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly desirable \n
- Hypermill experience would be advantageous \n
