Job Description
Role: Litigation Solicitor Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Contract: Full time, permanent. hybrid Salary: £45,000 - £60,000CRA Consulting is pleased to be working with a highly regarded regional law firm to recruit a Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its established Dispute Resolution team. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation professional with around three years' PQE to join a modern and progressive practice that has built an excellent reputation for providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice to both businesses and private individuals. You'll become part of a collaborative team handling a broad range of contentious matters, with the autonomy to manage your own caseload while benefiting from the support of experienced colleagues and clear opportunities for long-term career progression.
The Role\nThis position offers a varied workload across both pre-action and litigated matters, providing exposure to a diverse range of disputes. You'll be responsible for progressing files from initial instruction through to resolution, building strong client relationships and delivering practical legal advice throughout the litigation process. The caseload will predominantly include:

- Commercial disputes. \n
- Property and landlord & tenant litigation. \n
- Professional negligence claims. \n
- A broad range of general civil litigation matters. \n

Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Managing a varied caseload of litigation matters from instruction through to conclusion. \n
- Advising clients on contentious issues, providing clear, practical and commercially focused guidance. \n
- Conducting matters through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution and formal court proceedings where necessary. \n
- Preparing pleadings, witness statements, applications, correspondence and other legal documentation. \n
- Liaising with clients, counsel, experts and third parties to progress matters efficiently. \n
- Maintaining high standards of file management, compliance and time recording. \n
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent levels of service. \n
- Supporting colleagues on complex or high-value disputes where required. \n
- Playing an active role in the continued success and development of the Litigation team. \n
To be considered, you'll be:

- A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive. \n
- Around three years' PQE, although applications from candidates with more or less experience are welcomed. \n
- Experienced in civil litigation, with exposure to commercial disputes, property litigation or professional negligence work. \n
- Comfortable managing your own caseload with minimal supervision. \n
- A confident communicator with strong client care and relationship management skills. \n
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and effective case management abilities. \n
- Commercially aware, proactive and committed to delivering outstanding client service. \n
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment. \n
