The Company you will be working with;
\nMTrec Recruitment are currently supporting our industry leading client on their search to appoint an experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. If you have the required skills and experience, then please apply for an immediate response!
\nThe Role you will be doing;
\nThe successful candidate will report directly to the Maintenance Manager. A multi skilled role with a preferred electrical bias, with responsibility for reactive breakdown repair, PPM, installation, and maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment and plant.

- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations while reporting safety and performance issues \n
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and deliver safety-critical maintenance tasks within specified timeframes \n
- Manage maintenance work order processes including raising defects, planning, scheduling, and recording reactive, proactive, and conditional-based maintenance \n
- Communicate all information thoroughly across all shifts and departments \n
- Oversee contractors during out-of-hours work to ensure compliance with work instructions, safe systems of work, risk assessments, and permit requirements \n
- Actively participate in safety reporting and continuous improvement initiatives \n
- Shifts 0645-1500hrs,1445-2300hrs and 2245-0700hrs Monday – Friday as well as additional hours to suit the needs of the business \n
About You;
\n- \n
- Must have a flexible can-do attitude with the ability to work with minimum supervision to suit production demands. \n
- Hold a relevant qualification NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, in an Engineering related discipline. \n
- Time served with an electrical bias. \n
- Experience of Plastics processing / Temperature control / Process equipment is preferred \n
- This position will involve additional hours as required to support the needs of the business. \n
- Knowledge of fault-finding diagnosis and repair of a wide range of production machinery. \n
- Minimum 3 years post held in an engineering/manufacturing environment. \n
- Counterbalance Forklift license advantageous but not essential \n
