Core Responsibilities

- Provide empathetic 24-hour care within residential settings, including night and weekend coverage. \n
- Help service users manage emotional distress through structured, trauma-informed approaches. \n
- Guide young people through daily routines, school runs, and developmental hobbies. \n
- Uphold high compliance standards relative to Scottish regulatory guidance. \n
- Collaborate effectively with inter-agency professionals, social workers, and care teams. \n
Position Requirements

- Proven background in a residential childcare setting. \n
- PVG membership for working with children. \n
- SVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent) preferred. \n
- Full UK driving licence is strongly preferred. \n
- Resilience, patient approach, and strong interpersonal boundary-setting skills. \n
Alternative Titles & Transferable Backgrounds If you have experience as a Community Support Officer, Youth Worker, Residential Support Assistant, or Pupil Support Assistant, your skills are highly relevant.
