Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
We are currently supporting a well-established manufacturing business based inThurmaston, Leicesterwho are looking to add anelectrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineerto their engineering team.
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join astable, well-invested manufacturing sitewhere engineers are trusted to take ownership of maintenance and improvement activities across the plant.
\nThe role operates on adouble days shift pattern (6am2pm / 2pm10pm)withone week of nights every five weeks. The night shift week consists offour x 8-hour shifts, providing a balanced and manageable rotation.
\nThe Role
\nYou will be responsible for supporting the site through a mixture ofreactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activity.
\nWorking closely with production teams, you will play a key role in ensuring machinery uptime and driving reliability across the facility.
\nTypical responsibilities include:

Electrical and mechanical fault finding on manufacturing equipment
\n - \n
Supporting PPM schedules and planned engineering work
\n - \n
Diagnosing faults on motors, sensors, drives, relays and control systems
\n - \n
Working with production teams to minimise downtime and improve performance
\n - \n
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site
\n \n
What Were Looking For
\nWere keen to speak with engineers who have experience withinmanufacturing or production environments, ideally with a strong electrical skillset.
\nYou will ideally have:

Experience fault finding onthree-phase electrical systems
\n - \n
Strong problem-solving ability within afast-paced manufacturing environment
\n - \n
A proactive attitude towards maintenance and reliability
\n \n
Electrical qualifications such asNVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC or equivalentwould be advantageous.
