Location: Leicester (Hybrid - 1 day per week in the office)

Working within a collaborative team, you'll play a key role in shaping lending strategies, improving customer outcomes and supporting business growth through data-driven decision making. THE ROLE\nAs a Lead Credit Risk Analyst, you will develop and optimise lending strategies across an existing customer portfolio, balancing commercial growth with responsible lending.
\nKey responsibilities include:

- Develop and implement lending, affordability and credit limit strategies. \n
- Analyse portfolio performance to identify risks and commercial opportunities. \n
- Design and evaluate strategy tests to improve customer outcomes. \n
- Deliver portfolio analysis, MI and customer trend reporting. \n
- Work closely with modelling teams to implement strategic changes. \n
- Support the rollout of a new behavioural scorecard and credit decisioning system. \n
- Present strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders. \n
- Collaborate across the wider business to deliver key Credit Risk projects. \n
- \n
- Experience within Retail Credit Risk or Consumer Lending (e.g. credit cards, loans or mortgages). \n
- Experience working on Existing Customer Management (ECM), acquisition or lending strategies. \n
- Knowledge of credit limit management, affordability or pricing strategy. \n
- Strong SQL skills. \n
- Exposure to SAS or Python is advantageous. \n
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. \n

- Salary up to £65,000. \n
