We are recruiting for an experienced Neighbourhood Manager to join a busy Housing Service within a London Housing Provider. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team delivering high-quality neighbourhood and tenancy management services, ensuring residents receive a responsive, customer-focused service while maintaining safe, clean and well-managed communities.Location: LondonContract: TemporaryPay Rate:£30.00 - £31.70 per hour PAYE ~ 300 per day UmbrellaWorking Pattern: HybridReporting to the Head of Housing, you will lead a team of Neighbourhood & Officers and a Housing Coordinator, driving performance, regulatory compliance and continuous service improvement across your housing patch.This role is ideal for an experienced housing professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in tenancy management, neighbourhood services and resident engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesAs Neighbourhood Manager, you will:\n

- Lead and manage a team delivering high-quality neighbourhood and tenancy management services. \n
- Ensure excellent customer service and resident satisfaction across homes. \n
- Oversee tenancy management, estate management, anti-social behaviour (ASB), safeguarding and community engagement. \n
- Manage complex tenancy cases, including enforcement action, legal proceedings and possession cases where required. \n
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation, council policies and the Regulator of Social Housing Consumer Standards. \n
- Monitor team performance through KPIs, service standards and performance indicators, implementing improvement plans where necessary. \n
- Lead estate inspections, identify environmental improvements and work with internal teams to resolve issues. \n
- Manage voids, tenancy sign-ups and allocations to minimise turnaround times. \n
- Ensure Fire Risk Assessment actions and health & safety recommendations are completed within required timescales. \n
- Build strong relationships with residents, contractors, elected members and external partners including Police, Health Services and community organisations. \n
- Produce performance reports and provide updates to senior management. \n
- Support service transformation and continuous improvementinitiatives across the Housing Service. \n

- Experience managing neighbourhood or housing management services within a Local Authority or Housing Association. \n
- Strong knowledge of tenancy management, neighbourhood management and housing legislation. \n
- Experience managing Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) cases and complex tenancy issues. \n
- Proven experience leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams. \n
- Strong understanding of estate management and resident engagement. \n
- Experience managing complaints and improving customer satisfaction. \n
- Ability to interpret housing legislation and ensure regulatory compliance. \n
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Strong report writing, analytical and organisational skills. \n
- Experience working within a performance-driven environment. \n
