Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding team - Thurrock Council

Our client, Thurrock Council, is seeking an agency social worker for its Safeguarding Team.

The role will last 3 months initially with pay rate TBC but should be at least £32 per hour.

The role will involve the following:

• Adults Safeguarding Team.
\n
• The candidate will be working with Adults who have been referred to the team due to concerns about safeguarding.
\n
• Cover emergency safeguarding duty visits
\n
• Complete initial information gathering and signpost when concerns are received
\n
• Complete s42 safeguarding enquiries
\n
• Participate in safeguarding strategy meetings.
\n

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
\n
• Fully Social Work England registered
\n
• Must have significant post-qualified experience in adult social care
\n
• Ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of good quality experience in adult social care
\n
• Candidate should have safeguarding knowledge and expertise
\n
