Known for delivering high-quality projects and maintaining long-standing relationships with clients, the business has experienced consistent growth and continues to invest in its people, systems and future development.The Role: We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our client and take ownership of the day-to-day finance function. Working closely with the Directors and senior management team, this is a key appointment that will support the company's continued growth while ensuring robust financial controls, reporting and commercial insight across the business.Key Responsibilities:\n

- Financial Management – Oversee the finance function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial information. \n
- Management Accounts – Produce timely monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary. \n
- Cash Flow & Forecasting – Manage cash flow, budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making. \n
- Team Leadership – Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring efficient processes and high performance. \n
- Construction Finance – Monitor project profitability, contract performance and work-in-progress reporting. \n
- Compliance & Controls – Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax obligations and internal financial controls. \n
- Business Partnering – Work closely with operational teams and Directors to provide commercial and financial insight. \n

- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience. \n
- Previous experience within construction, contracting or a project-based environment. \n
- Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience. \n
- Knowledge of CIS, contract accounting and work-in-progress reporting. \n
- Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills. \n
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software/ERP systems. \n
