We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance to join the team!

At Avena Healthcare, recovery is delivered through a clinically led, evidence-based approach within a safe and supportive environment.

Our focus is on treating the whole person, combining medically managed detox with personalised therapeutic support to help people build the foundations for lasting recovery.

What You’ll be Doing

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across the site.
\n
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety and statutory checks.
\n
• Manage contractors and liaise with external suppliers when required.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and audits.
\n
• Support the Facilities Manager in budgeting and resource planning.
\n

What You’ll Need

\n
• Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities role, ideally within healthcare or similar environments.
\n
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
\n
• Excellent communication skills.
\n
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
\n
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in a trade, Health & Safety certifications) are desirable.
