Home Manager

Salary: £85,000–£90,000 per annum

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established care provider for an experienced Home Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a residential care home.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and commercially focused leader with a proven track record of delivering outstanding person-centred care, achieving regulatory compliance, and driving operational excellence.

• Lead the daily operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care.
\n
• Deliver outstanding person-centred care while maintaining full CQC compliance.
\n
• Manage budgets, occupancy, financial performance, and resource planning.
\n
• Recruit, lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing staff team.
\n
• Ensure safeguarding procedures and health & safety requirements are fully implemented.
\n
• Monitor care plans, medication management, audits, and quality assurance systems.
\n
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
\n
• Lead inspections and maintain inspection readiness.
\n
• Drive continuous improvement through effective governance and performance management.
\n
• Develop local marketing initiatives to increase occupancy and promote the home within the community.
\n

• Previous experience as a Home Manager within a residential or nursing care home.
\n
• Proven record of delivering high-quality care and achieving commercial objectives.
\n
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or equivalent).
\n
• Active NMC Registration.
\n
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and Health & Social Care legislation.
\n
• Experience managing budgets, occupancy, recruitment, HR processes, and staff performance.
\n
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
\n
• Right to work in the UK.
\n
