Process Improvement Engineer

Our client is looking for a proactive Process Improvement Engineer to support continuous improvement, manufacturing optimisation, and new product introduction activities within a fast-paced production environment.

Working closely with Production, Quality, and Tooling teams, you'll help improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste, solve production issues, and support the successful launch of new products.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and implement process improvements to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
\n
• Support NPI projects from concept through to production.
\n
• Investigate manufacturing issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
\n
• Analyse production data and recommend improvements.
\n
• Assist with process documentation, routings, and standard operating procedures.
\n
• Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Planning teams to deliver sustainable improvements.
\n

About You

\n
• Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent).
\n
• Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement.
\n
• Confident communicator with a hands-on approach.
\n

Desirable

\n
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Continuous Improvement tools.
\n
• Exposure to NPI, Process Engineering, or Quality Improvement projects.
\n
• Experience within casting, foundry, machining, or metal manufacturing environments.
\n
