If so, this could be your next move. We’re seeking a motivated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in running a therapeutic children’s home. Because the organisation invests heavily in career progression, we welcome experienced Senior Support Workers (minimum 2 years) who are ready to step into a more senior role. Key Responsibilities * Support day‑to‑day operations of the home * Lead, supervise and develop staff * Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations * Oversee care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding practice * Manage rotas, staffing and occasional on‑call duties * Maintain accurate records and support quality assurance * Build positive relationships with young people and professionals What We’re Looking For * Child‑focused, resilient and calm under pressure * Strong safeguarding knowledge * Confident communicator and team leader * Understanding of EBD needs * Flexible approach to support the needs of the home Requirements * Level 3 or 4 NVQ Residential Childcare * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Senior Support Worker or similar role * Experience in children’s residential care (EBD/SEMH) * Full right to work in the UK (without sponsorship) Why Apply? * Child‑focused organisation * Genuine investment in your development * Clear progression pathway * Opportunity to make a real impact every day If you’re ready to take the next step in your residential childcare career, we’d love to hear from you.
