This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least six months' experience within a legal environment who is looking to develop their career in conveyancing while working alongside experienced property professionals. Supporting a Partner and Licensed Conveyancer, you'll play a key role in ensuring residential property transactions progress efficiently while delivering an exceptional client experience.The Role As a Conveyancing Assistant, you'll provide comprehensive administrative and transactional support throughout the conveyancing process. Working within a collaborative team, you'll assist with a varied caseload covering sales, purchases, remortgages and other residential property matters.Key Responsibilities\n

- Providing day-to-day support to a Partner and Licensed Conveyancer. \n
- Opening new files and maintaining accurate records using the firm's case management system. \n
- Preparing legal documentation and correspondence relating to residential property transactions. \n
- Carrying out property searches and obtaining relevant documentation. \n
- Managing client onboarding, including ID verification and AML compliance checks. \n
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers and third parties to progress transactions. \n
- Responding to client enquiries in a professional and timely manner. \n
- Ensuring files remain organised, compliant and up to date throughout each transaction. \n
- Assisting with diary management, deadlines and general administrative duties. \n
- Providing reception cover on a rota basis when required. \n
- Supporting the wider team with additional duties as needed. \n

- A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a legal environment. \n
- Previous experience supporting a residential conveyancing team. \n
- A good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion. \n
- Knowledge of client due diligence, AML and compliance requirements. \n
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. \n
- Strong communication and client care skills. \n
- The ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines. \n
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems. \n
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. \n

- Knowledge of Land Registry procedures. \n
- Experience dealing with freehold, leasehold, remortgage and other residential property transactions. \n
- A broader understanding of residential conveyancing processes. \n
