Are you an organised, proactive and people-focused professional with experience across business operations, administration, HR or school support services?My client is seeking a dedicated School Business Manager to lead the operational functions of our successful and inclusive primary school. Working closely with the Headteacher, leadership team and wider Trust colleagues, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the school, helping create the best possible environment for pupils, staff and families.As part of the family, you'll join a collaborative organisation committed to excellence, inclusion and continuous improvement, where children are at the heart of everything we do.About the RoleThis is a varied and rewarding leadership position with responsibility for key business functions including:\n

  • Leading and developing school administration systems and processes
  • \n
  • Managing and supporting the administrative team
  • \n
  • Overseeing HR administration, recruitment and payroll processes
  • \n
  • Supporting compliance with GDPR, safeguarding and statutory requirements
  • \n
  • Coordinating Health & Safety, premises administration and service contracts
  • \n
  • Producing reports, returns and workforce data
  • \n
  • Supporting school events, projects and operational planning
  • \n
  • Working collaboratively across the Trust to improve services and efficiencies
  • \n

  • Experience within administration, business management, HR or operational leadership
  • \n
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • \n
  • Experience managing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • \n
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • \n
  • Strong ICT skills, including Microsoft Office and management systems
  • \n
  • The ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
  • \n
  • A positive, resilient and solutions-focused approach
  • \n
