Your new company An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy and supportive HR team within a fast-paced operational environment. Your new role As HR Advisor, you will provide expert HR support across the full employee life cycle, partnering with managers and employees to deliver practical, people-focused solutions. This is a varied, generalist position where you'll be involved in everything from onboarding and performance management to employee relations, wellbeing and organisational change. You will have the autonomy to make this role your own.Key responsibilities will include: Providing professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees. Managing a varied employee relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters. Supporting employee engagement, development and retention initiatives. Ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently. Supporting organisational change projects and operational HR activities. Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you'll be an experienced HR professional with strong employee relations expertise and the confidence to influence and support managers at all levels.

Essential:

  • Proven HR generalist experience.
  • \n
  • Experience managing a busy ER caseload and providing pragmatic HR advice.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to remain calm, organised and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • \n
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification (and the willingness to work towards Level 5)
  • \n

Desirable: Experience within a manufacturing, production or operational environment would be preferable. Experience working with trade unions and/or within a unionised workforce.
