Hyper V Consultant

Location: Cheshire (primarily onsite)
Duration: 1 Month (inside ir35)
Start: ASAP
Clearance: Active SC Clearance required

We are looking for an experienced SC Cleared Hyper-V Consultant to support the deployment and validation of a Microsoft Hyper-V environment. Working alongside our customer team, you will follow an established runbook, provide hands-on implementation support, and deliver knowledge transfer throughout the engagement.

Key responsibilities:

\n
• Deploy and configure Hyper-V roles and services.
\n
• Configure Hyper-V networking, virtual switches and QoS policies.
\n
• Validate storage connectivity.
\n
• Configure and validate Hyper-V Failover Clustering and quorum.
\n
• Troubleshoot cluster issues during implementation.
\n
• Create and test virtual machines.
\n
• Demonstrate VM failover and Hyper-V Replica functionality.
\n
• Provide over-the-shoulder support, knowledge transfer and implementation handover documentation.
\n

Essential skills:

\n
• Active SC Clearance.
\n
• Strong hands-on Hyper-V implementation experience.
\n
• Hyper-V Failover Clustering expertise.
\n
• Experience with Hyper-V Replica, networking and storage integration.
\n
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer-facing skills.
\n
