Evesham, Worcestershire
Salary: £26,000
39 hours per week | Rotating shift pattern

\n As part of our dedicated team, you'll play a vital role in keeping the grounds operating to the highest standards.

The Role
\n You'll work as part of the facilities team delivering a wide range of outdoor maintenance and horticultural tasks, including:

\n
    \n
  • Grass cutting, hedge trimming, leaf clearance and litter picking
  • \n
  • Weed spraying and general planting, pruning and seeding
  • \n
  • Light landscaping and tree?care duties
  • \n
  • Setting out and maintaining sports pitches (grass, tarmac & synthetic)
  • \n
  • Equipment checks and safe operation of light plant and power tools
  • \n
  • Erecting and dismantling equipment
  • \n
  • Painting and basic repairs to outdoor equipment
  • \n
  • Drainage works and general grounds upkeep
  • \n
  • Supporting local and business Zero Carbon initiatives
  • \n
  • Ensuring high standards of safety and compliance across the grounds
  • \n
\n

Every day will be varied, hands?on and outdoors - ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in creating well?maintained spaces.

The Responsibilities
\n We're looking for someone dependable, proactive and safety conscious, with:

\n
    \n
  • A full UK driving licence
  • \n
  • Experience in gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance
  • \n
  • Weed?spraying certificate (PA1/PA6 desirable)
  • \n
  • Confidence operating light machinery, equipment and wheeled tractors
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation
  • \n
  • Chainsaw-related qualifications (CS30, CS31 or CS34)
  • \n
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow safe working practices
  • \n
  • Security Clearance is required
  • \n
