This is a unique opportunity to influence enterprise-wide technology decisions, drive innovation, and help shape the future of our business-critical systems.Working closely with senior stakeholders across Technology, Business Operations, and the wider CRH Group, you'll be responsible for ensuring our SAP solutions are scalable, secure, integrated, and aligned with long-term business goals.What You'll Be DoingAs our SAP Solution Architect, you'll:Lead the architecture and delivery of SAP S/4HANA transformation and migration initiativesDefine and drive the roadmap from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, including migration strategy, system conversion, and data readinessDesign simplified, standardised and scalable SAP solutions that deliver business value across multiple business unitsPartner with business and technology stakeholders to shape future-state architecture and digital transformation strategiesEnsure seamless integration between SAP and wider enterprise platformsChampion SAP best practices, governance, security, compliance and enterprise architecture standardsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams, partners and suppliersDrive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies including SAP BTP, AI/ML capabilities, RISE with SAP, and cloud transformation opportunitiesIdentify opportunities to maximise return on investment and create measurable business value from SAP technologiesWhat We're Looking ForYou'll bring a combination of strong technical expertise, strategic thinking and stakeholder leadership, together with:Extensive experience in SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA architectureProven success delivering complex enterprise-scale SAP transformation programmesExperience leading at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA migrationStrong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA architecture, data models and business processesKnowledge of core SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD and PPExperience with SAP integration technologies including APIs, IDocs, BAPIs and ODataKnowledge of SAP Activate methodology, Readiness Check and migration toolingFamiliarity with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP and cloud deployment modelsUnderstanding of IT controls, SAP security and SOX compliance requirementsStrong stakeholder management, influencing and leadership skillsExperience operating within Agile and DevOps environmentsIt Would Be Great If You Also HaveSAP S/4HANA certificationExperience with RISE with SAPKnowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAFExperience working within large, complex, multi-site organisationsThis is more than a Solution Architect role.
