The service places a strong emphasis on child-centred practice, partnership working with families, and ensuring children have access to the support and resources they need to thrive.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of children and young people with disabilities and complex needsUndertake Child and Family Assessments and statutory assessmentsComplete Care Act and Short Break assessments where appropriateDevelop, implement, and review child-centred care and support plansWork closely with families, schools, health professionals, and partner agenciesAssess and manage safeguarding concerns in line with statutory guidanceSupport children in need, child protection, and looked after children processes where requiredPrepare high-quality reports, assessments, and court documentation when necessaryEnsure the voices of children and young people remain central to all planning and decision-makingAbout YouQualified Social WorkerRegistered with Social Work EnglandRecent experience within a Children with Disabilities, Safeguarding, Child in Need, or Assessment TeamStrong knowledge of legislation relating to children with disabilities and safeguardingExperience working with children and young people with complex needsExcellent assessment, care planning, and relationship-based practice skillsAbility to build effective partnerships with families and multi-agency professionalsIf you're considering a move, looking for a long-term contract, or simply want to find out more about this opportunity, we'd be happy to arrange a confidential discussion.Contact Nathan on 07401 281738 or email for more information.TPBN1_UKTJ
