£42ph | Children with Disabilities Team | South Coast | Flexible Working | Long-Term Contract | Manageable Caseloads | £90 a week expensesAre you an experienced Children's Social Worker looking for your next Children with Disabilities (CWD) contract with excellent pay, flexible working arrangements, and a manageable caseload?We are currently working with a well-established South Coast local authority seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities Team on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive service that prioritises relationship-based practice, high-quality assessments, and positive outcomes for children and young people with disabilities and their families.Working within the CWD Team, you will support children and young people with complex needs, ensuring they receive appropriate services, safeguarding support, and tailored care plans to maximise their wellbeing and development. The service places a strong emphasis on child-centred practice, partnership working with families, and ensuring children have access to the support and resources they need to thrive.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of children and young people with disabilities and complex needsUndertake Child and Family Assessments and statutory assessmentsComplete Care Act and Short Break assessments where appropriateDevelop, implement, and review child-centred care and support plansWork closely with families, schools, health professionals, and partner agenciesAssess and manage safeguarding concerns in line with statutory guidanceSupport children in need, child protection, and looked after children processes where requiredPrepare high-quality reports, assessments, and court documentation when necessaryEnsure the voices of children and young people remain central to all planning and decision-makingAbout YouQualified Social WorkerRegistered with Social Work EnglandRecent experience within a Children with Disabilities, Safeguarding, Child in Need, or Assessment TeamStrong knowledge of legislation relating to children with disabilities and safeguardingExperience working with children and young people with complex needsExcellent assessment, care planning, and relationship-based practice skillsAbility to build effective partnerships with families and multi-agency professionalsIf you're considering a move, looking for a long-term contract, or simply want to find out more about this opportunity, we'd be happy to arrange a confidential discussion.Contact Nathan on 07401 281738 or email for more information.TPBN1_UKTJ
