Thermal Insulation Engineers

Morson Edge are currently looking to recruit experienced TICA Qualified Thermal Insulation Engineers (TIEs/Laggers) for a shutdown project at Didcot Power Station.
\n Successful candidates will be involved in a range of thermal insulation activities across industrial plant and pipework systems. Duties will include:

• Installation, maintenance and removal of thermal insulation on pipework, vessels, ducting and associated plant equipment.
\n
• Measuring, cutting and fitting a variety of insulation materials to required specifications.
\n
• Fabrication and installation of aluminium and stainless steel cladding.
\n
• Working from drawings, specifications and site instructions to complete works safely and efficiently.
\n
• Carrying out repairs, modifications and replacements to existing insulation systems.
\n
• Maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety at all times.
\n
• Working as part of an experienced site team to meet project deadlines.
\n

Requirements

\n
• Valid TICA qualification/card.
\n
• Previous experience working on industrial, power generation, petrochemical or similar sites.
\n
• Strong understanding of insulation systems and metal cladding installation.
\n
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a busy site environment.
\n
• Immediate availability preferred.
\n
• NAECI Cat 4 Grade 5 PAYE Rates
\n
• Monday to Friday
\n

PAYE Rates

Standard (First 38 Hours) £20.91 per hour
\n Overtime 1 (After 38 Hours & First 4 Hours on Saturday)
\n £29.27 per hour
\n Overtime 2 (After 4 Hours on Saturday & All Day Sunday)
\n £37.64 per hour
Additional Benefits
\n £1.00 per hour bonus
\n Paid travel time
\n Train fares covered
\n Lodge allowance of £53.39 per day (taxable)
