Financial Accountant

London | Hybrid Working | Up to £67,000 Package

Robert Half is exclusively partnering with a market-leading infrastructure business to recruit a Financial Accountant for its high-performing finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys technical accounting, balance sheet control and process improvement within a complex, large-scale environment. The role offers exposure to senior finance leadership and the opportunity to contribute to the development of finance processes and controls across a growing business.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, managing balance sheet risk and supporting the wider financial control function.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and controls
\n
• Full responsibility for fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure reporting
\n
• Reviewing and improving financial processes and internal controls
\n
• Coordinating internal control and audit activities
\n
• Monitoring and reconciling intercompany balances
\n
• Supporting external reporting requirements
\n
• Assisting with year-end and interim audit processes
\n
• Providing technical accounting guidance to finance and operational stakeholders
\n
• Supporting wider financial control initiatives and projects
\n

\n
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
\n
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
\n
• Experience within financial accounting, financial control or audit
\n
• Strong balance sheet and fixed asset accounting experience
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
\n
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems
\n
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
\n
