Job Title: Machine Production OperativeLocation: YorkSalary: £12.71 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexible start/finish times) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Machine Production Operative to join a successful and growing organisation based in York. Working within a modern facility, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, accurately and to the highest quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, machine operation, assembly or a hands on production environment. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills within a supportive and forward thinking business.Responsibilities of Machine Production Operative:\n

• Set up and operate production machinery in line with company procedures
\n
• Carry out equipment checks and ensure machinery is ready for production
\n
• Follow production schedules and prioritise tasks effectively
\n
• Complete quality checks and visual inspections to ensure standards are maintained
\n
• Accurately complete production records and documentation
\n
• Identify and report any issues affecting quality, efficiency, or production output
\n
• Ensure materials are handled correctly to minimise waste
\n
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised working environment
\n
• Support continuous improvement activities and suggest process improvements
\n
• Work closely with colleagues and team leaders to meet production requirements
\n

Skills & Experience:\n

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or machine operating environment
\n
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and consistently
\n
• Good manual dexterity and the ability to work with precision
\n
• A practical and technical mindset with a willingness to learn new skills
\n
• Ability to follow processes and instructions carefully
\n
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities
\n
• Positive, reliable and team focused approach
