Your exciting opportunity

As a Claims Handler in the DMU team you will be organised and methodical. You will be tasked with organising vehicle repairs and hire vehicles for policyholders and third parties following a road traffic accident.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with various stakeholders such as policyholders, insurance companies, brokers, vehicle repairers and vehicle suppliers to ensure the smooth and effective completion of the claimant's claim.
  • \n
  • Take responsibility for a caseload of claims, organising the relevant services for each claim, updating the customer every step of the journey.
  • \n
  • Manage costs and expectations from clients and customers around hire, repair timescales and total loss claims.
  • \n
  • Organise invoices received from the repair and hire providers, ensuring they are accurate and submitting for payment/approval.
  • \n
  • Inbox management, responding to enquiries from cover holders, clients, and brokers.
  • \n
  • Work as part of a team to ensure that the customer is kept informed every step of the way.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in motor claims handling, insurance, or vehicle repair coordination desired.
  • \n
  • Experience handling high-volume calls is essential.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • \n
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Competence in using MS Office and claims management systems.
  • \n
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • \n

Requirements:

Full-time, Permanent, 35 hours a week.
