Job Description
Electrical Production Manager Lead. Improve. Deliver. Are you an experienced Production Manager with a strong electrical engineering background and a passion for driving operational excellence? We're looking for a hands-on Electrical Production Manager to lead a busy manufacturing operation, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the highest standards. This is a key leadership position where you'll oversee production, develop teams, champion continuous improvement and collaborate with departments across the business including Design, Projects, Sales, Finance, QHSE and HR. If you thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment and enjoy balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day operational leadership, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Leading and managing the day-to-day electrical production operation Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency and profitability Managing production planning to meet customer requirements Coaching, mentoring and developing production teams Collaborating closely with Design, Projects, Sales, Finance, QHSE and HR departments Ensuring compliance with health & safety, environmental and quality standards Overseeing resource planning, subcontractors and production schedules Leading production meetings and ensuring actions are completed effectively Supporting project handovers, client inspections, factory acceptance tests and installation readiness Contributing to strategic planning and operational improvements across the wider business What We're Looking For Essential: Strong electrical engineering knowledge and experience Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Experience driving continuous improvement and process optimisation Ability to lead, motivate and develop teams Knowledge of quality, health, safety and environmental regulations Strong organisational and planning skills Management qualification such as ILM or equivalent This is an opportunity to join a well-established and growing engineering business where you can make a genuine impact.
